Common questions
Where do blocked calls go?
They go to voicemail without ringing. You can see them in the Phone app under Unknown Callers, marked "Shoo: Blocked".
A spam call still got through. Why?
Spammers switch numbers constantly, so no list catches every call. Block the number in Shoo (My List → +). If several come from similar numbers, block the range. For calls that slip past, also turn on Settings → Apps → Phone → Screen Unknown Callers.
Shoo blocked someone I need to hear from.
Open Shoo → My List → + → Never block, and add their number. Never-block numbers always get through, even if they're on a spam list or in a blocked range.
Why didn't Shoo filter a text?
iOS only lets filters see SMS (green bubble) texts from people not in your contacts. iMessages and texts from contacts are never filtered.
Will Shoo ever hide my login codes?
No. Messages that look like verification codes always stay in your inbox.
Does Shoo upload my contacts or listen to my calls?
No. Shoo never accesses your contacts and iOS never gives it your calls. See our Privacy Policy.
How often does the spam list update?
Once a day, automatically in the background.
What does Shoo Premium include, and what's free?

How much is Premium?
$1.99 a month or $14.99 a year, with a 7-day free trial. You won't be charged if you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
How do I cancel or restore my subscription?
Cancel anytime in Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Shoo. Got a new phone? Open Shoo → Premium → Restore.
